Events at Falling Water Gardens

path_lightFirst off we’d like to thank everyone who helped make last month’s events so successful. We couldn’t have done it without you, our customers. Did you miss our evening gatherings? You’ll have a second chance this month because we are holding both events again.

A Night at the Garden – Thursday May 16th 7:30pm-9:30pm

This event is all about lighting up the night. Rick will be teaching an informal class about low voltage lighting. Enjoy your pond, garden or outdoor living space late into the evening by adding low-voltage lighting. Why not get the most out of your space? This class will cover everything you need to know to turn your space into a magical after-dark sanctuary. And this night only receive 10% off on all lighting products. Later we’ll light up the garden and give folks a chance to see our display gardens all lit up! Refreshments and snacks will be available for the pleasure of your palate.

ladies Ladies Night – Thursday May 23rd 7pm-9pm

You read it correctly, LADIES ONLY. No icky boys allowed. We’ll have refreshments and some delactible hors d’oeuvre to go around. We’re honoring the ladies exclusively with this event. Haven’t perused our spot in the evening? It’s a real treat. The gift shop will be open. Bring a friend and receive 10% off your purchase! Unfortunately this does not include consignment items but lucky for you consignment only counts for a fraction of our inventory. We really do have something for everybody, and with no husbands or boyfriends around you have the freedom to spend as you wish! Lauren and Leanne will also be teaching an informal class on planting a decorative container. Bring your own ceramic pot or choose to purchase one of ours. We’ll provide the soil and a couple free annual color spots. Take it home and enjoy it all summer long!

The Cherry Gardens Horticultural Club of Duvall will hold their next meeting at Falling Water Gardens on the evening of Wednesday May 15th. If you live in the Monroe/Duvall area this might be a good opportunity for you to see what this garden club is all about. Would you like us to host your garden club’s next meeting? Give us a shout out and we’ll see what we can do.
